What is S.T.E.A.M Enrichment?
The world of work has transformed tremendously over the past few decades. With technology and AIs prevalent in all areas of work, existing jobs today will no longer be relevant in the future. As the world of education explores approaches to empower preschoolers with the knowledge and skills they require to become successful innovators in the increasingly technologically-driven workforce, there has been an increasing focus on S.T.E.A.M – an educational discipline that engages children through Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts and Mathematics. Picasso Kidz (Art)
Picasso Kidz offers a multidisciplinary approach to art and craft, encouraging children to explore various mediums like clay, mosaic, and papier mâché. This process-based program stimulates their imagination and creative potential while also honing their public speaking skills as they present their masterpieces.
Music Mooves (Music)
Music Mooves uses the universal language of music to help children develop socially, emotionally, and intellectually through engaging games and rhythmic activities. By integrating musical experiences with a Project Inquiry theme, the program sharpens essential skills like numeracy, expressive language, and motor coordination.
Little Newton (Science)
Little Newton fosters a curious mind by engaging preschoolers in age-appropriate science experiments that explore natural phenomena and everyday mechanics. Through these fun, hands-on activities, children learn to look at the world scientifically, developing critical thinking, observation, and problem-solving skills.
Busy Baker (Culinary Arts)
Busy Baker teaches children about healthy diets and diverse global cultures through hands-on, interactive culinary experiences. Sportball (Sports)
Sportball utilizes a multi-sport approach in a fun, non-competitive environment to help children meet developmental milestones and promote a healthy lifestyle. Through engaging play, preschoolers build essential psychomotor and social skills while learning the dynamics of team sports.
English and Chinese Speech and Drama
This bilingual program uses literature, storytelling, and dramatization to impart core communicative skills in both English and Chinese. By bringing stories from the page to the stage in a safe environment, children significantly boost their listening and speaking skills, as well as their confidence and creativity.
